kaRIN's skull cuffs with Pauley Perette

Our awesome friend Pauley Perrette who plays the wonderful, adorable ABBY on NCIS sent us this picture of her wearing not 1, but 2 of our handmade leather cuffs with skulls!! Rumor has it she will be wearing them on the show tonight!! We just love her. We just put them on sale for half price ($22) at the collide store!! They will be on sale until Friday Nov. 27th. We have a black one with silver, or a rustic weathered brown one with brass. The link is in the comments

Nova arrives

Nova arrives

So it's official...thanks for all your name thoughts. We are going to name her Nova!! The name feels just right, The definition of the word is a "star that suddenly increases in light", or the Native American meaning is "Chases Butterfly". She is such a sweet, happy dog. Rescues are the best!! Sorry in advance for the many dog pictures we will post.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year

It's a new year, and although we've been quiet on the musical front, we've still been very busy.

As you can see, we now have a brand new Collide website, and online store.  We've added lots of new products on the store, and it works much better on mobile devices.  In case you're bored, there is news all of the way back to 1998, so feel free to poke around the pictures, or check out the updated discography.

...Over now to the remixes on the 1st disc. There are several remarkable and even outstanding pieces. The remix of “Mind Games” by Skinny Puppy’s cEvin Key and Ken Marshall is a slow opener, but with deep resonating vibes and again the essential, sensual vocals of kaRIN. Collide Instrumentals

Collide Instrumentals

We've been working on something rather exciting lately. We've been going back through all of our computer back-ups, tape back-ups, DATs, old files, and old computers.

We've compiled instrumental versions of our entire album collection. This also includes our Secret Meeting album and singles. On most of the albums, we have also included an unreleased song, or remix. As far as we know, this isn't anything that any band has ever done, as far as an entire catalog of music goes.

Bite Me reviews Bent and Broken

Bite Me reviews Bent and Broken

"Bent And Broken is a stellar release in which Collide manages to create their own audio universe with a little help from their friends. The remixes retain the band’s signature stamp while elevating the songs to a new sonic plane. Fans will be pleased and darkly-inclined music lovers will have a new group to add to their repertoire."

Jason Nahrung reviews Bent and Broken

"Listening to electro duo Collide is a little like walking by the ocean; a quiet, calming ocean. But as with that aquatic environment, beneath the surface, there are currents to pull you in unexpected directions, rips to take you deeper. And that is what the mammoth remix double album Bent and Broken (Noiseplus), kindly downloaded to me by the band, has explored, tagging the essence and developing the core of the music to take it further. So not just those calming rhythms, but the crash and foam as well."

Thanks to Jason Nahrung, who reviewed Bent and Broken on his website, Vampires in the Sunburnt Country. You can read the whole review here.
